My immediate family

Dale is my husband, partner, and best friend.

Here Dale and I are enjoying a fondue dinner in front of the fireplace. This is a special kind of evening we often enjoy in the winter.

We share our home with three critters. KC (the cat) has been around the longest (17 years now).

We have an eight year old Sheltie named Molly and my guide dog named Moses.

Dale's family

Dale’s family lives in Picayune, MS and includes his mother Lois, and two sisters, Judy and Cookie. Cookie is married to Bill and their children and grandchildren are an important part of our lives.

My parents and ancestors

My parents were Kit and Bud Bardill. Sadly, they are both deceased. They were good parents and provided me with a world of unique opportunities that spurred me on to a life time of challenging adventures.

My mother was a very special part of the lives of my children, and it is wonderful to see how her memory and influence lives on in each of them.

Mom immigrated to the United States from Ireland when she was a young woman. I am proud of my Irish ancestry and family and the wonderful times I shared with them in Ireland.

Tom and Mary

My oldest son is Tom and he is married to his Irish sweetheart Mary. Tom is an ER nurse at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. Mary has worked ten years for Norwegian Cruise Lines in Personnel. They have enjoyed many romantic cruises. Tom and Mary live in Nashville, TN, and enjoy attending all kinds of sporting events and Country Music concerts. They are building a beautiful new home out in the country with a 360’ view of the mountains. Tom’s web site is: http://nursetom.smugmug.com/. Kathy and Thomas

Kathy is my oldest daughter, and she is married to Thomas, who is a CPA. Thomas and Kathy have two of my precious grandsons, Sean and Stephen. Kathy, after years of work and travel, is enjoying an even busier life as full time mom to these two rambunctious little boys.

Kara and Dennis

Kara is the next of my four children. She is a pediatric nurse. She is married to Dennis. In addition to his full-time work managing maintenance and operations of a fleet of city trucks, he coaches Little Leagues. They have my only granddaughter, Ashley and it is second full-time job for both of them to keep up with her and all of her activities.

Shannon and Brian

My youngest is my daughter Shannon. She is also a nurse and works mostly in ER. She is married to Brian who is also a CPA. Brian has given up the corporate life to be a stay at home dad. He also manages their investment properties and does contract accounting work. They have my oldest grandson, Vance.
